2022 RWS Writers Weekend Conference
Agenda start
What You Can Expect...
Camaraderie – For most writers, there is an immediate spirit al connection as you find yourselves among writers who are as passionate about the written word and story-sharing as you are. This weekend is more than just a learning experience, for some, it is also the beginning of a spiritual journey.
Literary Exposure – Each of our presenters represents diverse literary genres and experiences, and they are excited to share them with you. We implore you to learn from these artists’ journeys – their successes, their failures, and their lessons. New and emerging writers tend to learn more from the experience of others than from books.
A New Literary Beginning – If you are brand-new at writing, view this experience as “the first day of the rest of your writing life.” Join us as you take that first step among new friends, mentors, and people who believe in you, and want you to succeed.
Allow us to become your Literary Family and you will never be able to get rid of (and you will not want to!). Our team loves new family members. We will be there when and if you need encouragement, a book writing brainstorming session or a celebration of your literary successes along the way.
Education – Yes, it’s a feel-good atmosphere, but most importantly, you will leave RWS Writers Weekend with an infinite knowledge about writing, resources, and skills that will result in huge returns on your investment.
Prizes – We're bringing back our Writing Contest (certificates and cash awarded), adding hourly door prizes, and this year we are offering a raffle for a chance to win one-on-one writing coaching sessions and a basic publishing package! *Restrictions apply. Must be present to win.
Readers Roundtable – Back by popular demand! Conference participants will be allowed to read from their current or former body of work at no additional cost. (You must register. Limited slots available.)
Bring A Friend/Chance to Win - Share this information with a friend. When they register and list you as their referral, you are entered in a drawing for a chance to win coaching sessions or a publishing package! (Restrictions apply!)
We can’t wait to meet you (or see you again)! Register now! Share this information with a friend!
